The cottage is situated in the rural hamlet of Ellwood which is set to the south east of Coleford. Ellwood has Ellwood Community Primary School and Ellwood Football Club and is a short drive away from the market town of Coleford. Coleford itself has a whole range of shops and amenities to cater for most requirements including a launderette, butchers, pharmacy, three Churches, a large selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways as well as Coleford GWR Museum.
